I was asked what would make someone want to read my book, and I gave some lame answer. After giving it some thought, here is why I think you should give my book a try.
It is a work of historical fiction, set in Wisconsin in the 1800's. It is based on real people and real events.
It isn't a romance. Yes, it has a love story or two, but it is about as far away from a Harlequin Romance as you can get. The only heaving breasts are from people trying to escape an inferno. Any sweaty palms are from terror.
This book has a little of everything. Mystery, action, a whodunnit, adventure, childlike wonder, love, celebrities, and irony. Picture Bridgerton, but 100 years later, in America, and everything is on fire.
