2023 – what a year!

2023 was a big year for me in my author-verse but also behind the scenes…

I had From Rags to Richie’s paperback release, accompanied by my event at Wolverhampton Literature Festival.

I was a guest speaker at Creative Support and got to meet Listening Books. Learning so much more about audiobooks and what they can bring to the reading community.

I did my first ever craft fair stall at a Christmas Light Switch on and got to feel like a local celebrity. (Plus look at that setup… I was very pleased with myself for that one!)

But running along side all of that author goodness, I also moved house!

I set myself the task of learning how to decorate and renovate and DIY. Beginning my new adventure of turning my new house into my dream home. It’s still a work in progress and I’ll never get bored. (Not that I gave myself much opportunity for that before! ) But I’m super proud of myself and hubby. Annnnd I can’t wait to finally have an office space where all the author magic can happen. Eek! It’s loading guys, I can’t wait to share it with you all. This dream has been a long time coming…

Oh and I lasted approximately three months without a fur baby.

So I am also now officially a hamster Mom! I apologise in advance to my followers on my other platforms. I promise to try and keep the hamster content under control. But she’s just so cute!

So with 2023 being the action packed adventure that it was, what does 2024 have in store? I totally hear you ask…

Well, I’ve definitely started the year off strong…

I celebrated my 9 year blogversary on January 1st! Which genuinely feels insane. I can’t believe I’ve been living my dream for 9 years already?!

I’ve already had a meeting with my publisher! And the creative train is steaming well ahead with book plans for 2024!

My Amazon products have all been updated and you can now officially find the From Rags to Richie paperback on Amazon!

So yeah, not bad I feel for a month and 8 days.
