We're On Beach Time Here!

The ocean is my potion. We've all heard that one before, but in some cases it's true. When it comes to writers, I believe there is an esoteric group whose creativity flourishes in this environment. Most of us write about it in our stories and books, and some of us intentionally live it. I personally live on an Island in the Atlantic in the summer and walk the beaches of the Gulf of Mexico in the winter. Throw in any other body of water I can visit worldwide and I’m there! Call me a beachbum or call it my muse, the ocean clears the cobwebs and makes the creative juices flow. It reminds one that there is a wild and compelling world out there to be explored. My third book, based off the north Atlantic, in Ireland, is near completion. As the sun sets on that intriguing story, new ideas emerge over the horizon.

I'd love to hear what inspires other authors, readers, painters and creative thinkers. What is your muse or inspiration? Please share. 🙂

Carly Wiggins I love the beach and I am familiar with Galveston off the coast of Mexico. I love the beach there and the big waves. It's different from Florida for sure but I love it. My inspiration comes from the mountains too. Your book on Ireland sounds good. I hope you follow me back and check out my blog too. :) ~Carly

Hi Carly,
Second to the ocean I find inspiration in the beauty of the mountains when I am so lucky to see them! Vermont is a beautiful place that I recently drove through and would love to see its stunning fall colours one day! Thanks for sharing and I am interested in learning more about your books as well. :)

Thanks, Loretta. Yes, the mountains are truly an artwork from God. :) I write Christian fiction short stories. I have two in the June's Faith series now. I hope you check them out and sign up for my newsletter. You can check out my first book on Goodreads here: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...

Hello Loretta, your book Cape Haze looks interesting. Would you like to do a reading exchange?

Loretta Lynn Hi Carly,

Yes. I'm not sure if Cape Haze is your genre, but I would be interested in an exchange.

I think I would enjoy it. Do you think I would enjoy Under the Norway Spruce more? Can you add me as a friend here so we can communicate through private messages? That would be easier. :)
