April 2024 Wrap Up

April was a month filled with so many sweet times, but it was also a difficult month in some ways. Thankful for God for always walking with me through life, even on the most hard days.

My mom, sister, cousin, and I got to go see the Someone Like You movie in theaters! It was such a bittersweet movie filled with powerful themes that pointed to God and His faithfulness and goodness. Am excited for hopefully many more Karen Kingsbury Production films in the future!

April 8th was the Solar Eclipse, and getting to be in the path of totality was such a cool experience. Loved getting to experience it with my family. God is so cool!

I got to go see Lauren Daigle in concert with my aunt, aunt’s sister, and cousin for my cousin’s first concert. It was so much fun and so glad I got to go!

We also got to go see my grandparents and go to my Great Aunt Brenda’s book signing for her book Ranch Girl and the Orphan Lamb Adventure. So glad we got to go!

My mom, sister, and I had a one night girls trip getaway to Houston for some friend’s bridal showers. Was such a fun weekend and so glad we were able to spend some time together!

I’m Grateful For: God’s never wavering goodness and strength, good friends who point me to Christ, podcast recording sessions with my friend Rachel, planning a summer trip, good books, cute dogs, and horses.

What I’m Reading: Positively, Penelope by Pepper Basham and Leaving by Karen Kingsbury.

What I’m Listening To: Solo and The Grace of God by Grace Graber, So Gone by Loge, My Promised Land by Josiah Queen, Lauren Daigle’s album, Lauren Daigle, Vitamin Sea and Sons of Thunder by Owl City, Glad You Stayed by Xander Sallows, Worthy of Being Loved by We Are Messengers, and Say So (Broken Halo) by Apollo LTD.

What have you been up to in April? What has God been teaching you?

Hope you’re having a wonderful week! God bless you!

-Hannah
