Publication of Lost and Found

It’s been a busy time!

A few days before publication, an author interview appeared on the Dragonblade website which you can read here:

On the evening before publication of Lost and Found, I attended the Society of Authors’ Summer Party – and the official photographer, Adrian Pope, took a sneaky photo of me outside in the courtyard clutching a glass of elderflower and holding forth about something or other. Wish I could remember what it was!

I rushed home after the party because I was due to take part in a Facebook Live with four other Dragonblade authors. Finding a suitable time for this had proved challenging because of the time differences, but we settled on 5.30pm ET, which is 10.30pm in London. It was great to be able to ‘meet’ other authors who live on the other side of the pond. We all had books coming out within the week and were asked to introduce our books (no spoilers!) before a general discussion. The time flew past!

On publication day itself, 21st June, I spent a lot of time creating posts for the Dragonblade Publishing Readers Group and then answering comments as they came in. As we were talking about Regency Romance, I shared the Bridgerton Netflix AI portrait creator with readers. If you haven’t tried it before, it’s a lot of fun! You can find it here. And this was my result, which I find a tiny bit scary…

I found time to go out for a celebratory coffee mid morning – with my husband, and my new bag which a very kind friend had given me.

All in all, a very busy and exciting time! And now, if you will excuse me, I need to go and read some of my book reviews…and start promoting Book 2 which is already available to pre-order on Amazon.
