As always, it’s Friday’s fun fact! I generally tend to grab the most outlandish fact I find the week before and set you, the reader, the challenge of coming up with how this might fit into a science fiction narrative! Jokes, as always, are most welcome (it’s fun after all)😊

The problem of space junk is escalating, with over 500,000 pieces of debris, posing a danger to future satellites and spacecraft.

What’s the solution for getting rid of it? I assume it was more cost effective to leave it rather than retrieve it? It seems like we may finally need to utilize that space vacuum everyone has been talking about.

KM Taylor Hmmm. I've always daydreamed we could someday shove all our trash into the sunβ€”space junk and even the waste we pile up in landfills. Oh, and I've started A Symmetry Of Sentience, and I'm loving it, as expected! :D
