Well, that was COVID-19, emigration, and all those things combined. As far as writing is concerned, the 'Sol Senate Cycle' - Diaspora is at a resting point for now with the Weatherman-Ferryman-Poliismx-Preacherman body completed, for now. Plans for the Beggarman and Thief chapters are on hold for a long time to come because it has been a slog the last three years.

Fantasy resumes with The Adata Saga -Book One Xylana Bells begins soon (August 30) and I have paced this Saga in advance, a release for Xylana Plains in 2026 and Xylana Lakes in 2028 should take care of the Adata Clade's story arc. I like the Bildungsroman format and the Adata Saga is certainly, clearly that.

Unfinished projects - well yeah, there are quite a few of them now. I will tackle them in order of inspiration and start on them between all the other things going on. This includes launching a few of the shorts into markets and polishing some of the concluded phases into Box Sets or compilations as best I can. I don't see any other way to recycle some of the older works back into circulation, so that's what I am going to do.

So, why am I moving some of my stuff to the storygraph? Mostly to see how I would use AI, tbh. A decade of goodreads hasn't fixed any issues that I have with it, but I'm weary with using something that doesn't suit me without looking for alternatives. It certainly does things that this doesn't do, even though it in turn, doesn't do all the things that I would like it to do.
