Didn't get as many words in on "Dark Mistress" as I wanted to, but at least I've started the book. Unlike the previous two books, I don't have as clear an idea what's going to happen. I have some broad bullet points, characters I want to introduce and how they're going to interact with Geoff and the pack.

Still working out how to weave that into something approaching a plot.

Also, I thought I had a good handle on the way the book was going to start but it was harder than I expected to put any words down. I realize it's the first draft and that's what editing is for, but I struggle with that aspect. I can't write rough; it needs to have at least a little bit of polish on it.

So... yeah. But at least I got some writing done today. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
