Last weekend I learned that my debut novel Salvation and Doom: The Cathardi Prophecy had won a 2024 Cristlit Book Award. The recognition is gratifying since it is awarded to "authors who skillfully incorporate themes of faith into their writing." As an independent self-published author, who knows little about marketing, the encouragement from awards can keep me writing when my sales numbers often discourage me. I hope the award will help readers choose my books.
