Oh my stars, y’all! How are we this close to Thanksgiving already? November has been a whirlwind here as I wrapped up my abbreviated book tour for The Sullivan’s Island Supper Club and finished my in-person events for the season. 

While I was bouncing around coastal Carolina spending time with readers, Sugar and I attempted to sneak in a little quiet time on the beach, but, well…the best-laid plans, et cetera. My family needed me back in the Upstate, so back to the Upstate I went. I mentioned a few newsletters ago that I was looking forward to some beach time, and I’m intent on getting it in as soon as my schedule will allow. I don’t know about y’all, but I actually prefer the beach in the fall and winter months when things are quieter. But for now I’m focused on getting back to my writing and spending some much-needed time with family–and gearing up for Thanksgiving.
