Today an article about Home Depot’s earnings was titled, “Home Depot issues a warning about the economy.”

I’m afraid this isn’t The Onion.

By Home Depot, did the reporter mean that Super Mario looking guy (minus the beard and eyes) that masquerades as the company’s mascot? 

I read the first sentence to learn more. 

“Home Depot says consumers are feeling crummy about the economy, and they’re dishing out less on major home renovation projects.”
