12 years ago today… *that* press conference!

I’ve blogged several times in the past about *that* press conference on this day in 2013, when it was announced that the grave of King Richard III had been found ‘beyond reasonable doubt. Today is the twelfth anniversary of that momentous day (and of the ‘birth’ of Matthew Wansford, my lead character in the ‘Order of the White Boar‘ sequence) and to commemorate it I’ve brought together a couple of my blogs from those years (links here and here). The first is from the seventh anniversary, the second from the tenth. Both mention special offers which aren’t currently available, but this is a heads up to watch out for a very special offer coming in the next few weeks.

Because another momentous anniversary is looming. In just seven weeks it will be a whole decade since King Richard was reinterred. Where has the time gone?

As my books are aimed at readers aged 10+, very many of them now weren’t even born when King Richard was rediscovered or reburied. But when I speak to them at events, they’re all fascinated by his story – both the story of his life and the story of his rediscovery. So if you have a young (or indeed, not so young!) reader in your life who would be interested in reading more, watch out for the upcoming special offer.

In the meantime, please be sure to subscribe to this blog to ensure you receive emails when I post here – either about special offers or of course my forthcoming books. The next, titled Shadows of the Past, will be published in the spring. As a subscriber to the blog, you’ll be the first to hear all about it!
