Medium in Review: Gareth Lewis
Gareth Lewis is a psychic medium, teacher and author with 30 years experience, based in Bolton, Lancashire. Recently, he travelled to my area of Spain as part of a tour to celebrate the imminent launch of his new book, Spirit, Can You Hear Me?
While he was in Spain, I got chatting to him one evening before a demonstration of mediumship and I felt an immediate connection, which deepened during the demonstration. Gareth is an excellent evidential medium, and his messages are delivered with great comedic timing – so much that I dubbed him ‘The Commedium,’ because watching him work was so entertaining for everyone, not just the people getting messages. It was like a stand up comedy show with Spirit as special guests! Laughter is known to raise vibrational energy to facilitate spiritual connection, and Gareth caused plenty of laughter, while maintaining respect for both Spirit and his audience.
Gareth’s book is published in MarchWatching Gareth work was like a breath of fresh air, and I knew I wanted him to read privately for me. I felt I’d reached a crossroads in my own spiritual work, and I was being drawn in a different direction, out of my comfort zone. I was also concerned about my financial situation, and as a result I needed reassurance and confirmation, and I believed Gareth was the right person to bring that through from my loved ones in Spirit.
Having a reading with Gareth was like having my family in Spirit sitting in the room and chatting with us, as his evidence was not only accurate, it went so much deeper in detail than I could have expected. He brought through my mother, my maternal grandfather and a paternal uncle, and he not only described them physically, as well as the manner of their passing, he gave much more information.
My grandfather passed from lung cancer, but Gareth also knew that none of our family was aware of it for some time, as he seemed his normal self until he neared the end of his life. My grandparents decided to keep quiet about it until it was obvious there was something wrong, rather than upset their children and grandchildren. Grandad passed over 60 years ago, and I was just 11 at the time. I honestly don’t think a single living soul connected with me knows the details of his passing, because it’s not something I talk about these days, since none of my children ever knew him and my younger brother hardly remembers Grandad, as he was only 7 when he passed.
Gareth working at the Madhouse, Costa BlancaAll this, and more, was enough to convince me that any messages would be authentic, and brought with love from Spirit. Gareth identified my concerns, and told me that I needed to trust my instincts and go in the direction that Spirit clearly wanted for me.
Basically, I’ve been told in previous readings that I should concentrate more on spreading spiritual information via my writing and teaching in workshops, but I always felt that the time wasn’t right for me to teach others, as I still had so much to learn myself. Lately, I have been writing more and feeling I’m now in a position to help others better understand how Spirit works, but there’s always that concern that it may be ego driving these ideas rather than inner knowing and spiritual advice. The message from Mum was clear though: this is what you’re meant to be doing, so get on with it!
Gareth also knew about my book, The Soul Cave, and said how proud my family were that I’d written it, as it was helping others find their way through trauma. Some cynical people might say that information could have come from talking to others I suppose, but the next message certainly didn’t. I’ve been working on a second book, but it’s not going well, so I’d made up my mind to put it on the back burner and work on something else. The only problem was, I didn’t have a topic to work with – at least, not one that would make for a spiritual book that has something different to say.

Mum’s advice was that my new topic would come to me very soon, and Gareth said he had the impression that she meant more or less immediately. The thing is, time is a human construct, which Spirit don’t recognise, so it’s difficult to pinpoint. I can tell you now that earlier this week, just a couple of weeks or so after my reading, my topic came to me like a bolt out of the blue. Not only that, over the last few days I’ve had so many ideas and heard real life stories that fit in with the theme of the book, I’m constantly jotting down notes on the phone or the laptop.
I’m not ready to say more at the moment, it’s very early days, but I can see the way ahead with my second book now, and I’ll be working on it in earnest from next week. You read it here first! I also received reassurance regarding my financial situation. Again, it’s not something I want to go into detail about, but Gareth knew enough details, which could only have come from my loved ones in Spirit, that I feel much more at peace about the future, and more positive about the things that don’t seem to be going to plan right now.
I would recommend Gareth Lewis to anyone who is facing difficult decisions or needing confirmation that they are making the right choices. His evidence from Spirit is so detailed I just knew I could trust the messages I was receiving, and I’m ready for whatever knew adventures and experiences life – and Spirit – have in store for me.
