My wonderful family blocked off time for me to write this past weekend, and it was awesome!

I spend most of Saturday working on a short novel that revolves around Master Fuu from my first novel, "The Orphan of Destiny, David Hall" :D I wouldn't really put it in the prequel category since this short novel doesn't directly flow into the David Hall series, but it does provide some context for what's to come in the next David Hall book!

It was great to have large chunks of time to write more fluidly. I feel like writing in short sprints is great for getting ideas down, but I find that my writing starts to get a bit choppy, and I have to spend more time editing (I ended up editing a lot of what I had written before).

Anyways, I'm about 40-50% of the way through the rough draft :D maybe after a few more writing sessions, I'll be ready to make more extensive edits and prepare the novel for advance readers.
