Welcome to the month of June!! It's Black Music and Pride Month, ya'll and I hope everyone is enjoying the start of summer with all these...interesting changes that's been going on in the year. I know that it has been some time since I've blogged some of my thoughts regarding my writing, and that's been a purposeful choice by me. Why? I'm still stuck, ya'll. *soul sigh*😔 I've been working on Que's final book, but with the feeling that the first one didn't do so well, I'm reluctant to actually continue with his story.

I know it's good, but...

Anyway, we move on. With the popularity of the bomb arse movie Sinners, I've halted working on the continuation of my short that was featured in Slay? Why?

Again...this all comes down to my heavy impostor syndrome. I'm also dealing with a recent loss that I'm still processing. So, this month, I ask that you all bear with me as I sort myself out. Being a writer is not easy work. Countless rejections of shorts, low levels of interactions with my books/purchases, no reviews, it starts piling up on the psyche. 

Therefore, I'm leaving you all to continue to read my movie/TV reviews and have patience with me.

With going into this month, I'd like you all to support some authors and comicbook writers who are repping Black love, and Pride (either in their works, or who themselves rep the Pride flag), please! And also, don't forget that we celebrate Juneteenth around here!
