The Circle of Fire: Book Six is out!

This one has been a while in coming, having been delayed by my computer’s keyboard malfunction, my editor’s vacation schedule and some hijinks with the spine size of the paperback cover.

But, suffice it to say that The Circle of Fire: Book six is here. It’s title is: In Balochistan.

In this book Jan, Kelly and the rest of their friends in The Circle of Fire start stranded off the coast of Yemen on the landing ship Azov. Running low on fuel and friends, their only hope may rest with joining up with a mysterious order of fighters known only as The Knights of Durrani in eastern Afghanistan.

To make it there, they will have to steal fuel, save their friends still languishing in custody in Dubai and then fight their way through a simmering conflict zone in Balochistan, Pakistan’s westernmost province.

No one can be trusted — not even the friends they thought they knew — as fragile alliances shift, break and are betrayed as they try to fight their way north through Balochistan.

The promotional launch will run from August 6th, 2025 through the tenth of the same month. The ebook of Book One in the six (so far) book series will be free for this time. The other five ebooks will be $0.99 each.

Grab them while you can!

A synopsis of In Balochistan is below:

Jan, Kelly and the crew of the Azov are almost out of options, stranded off the coast of Yemen with no fuel, no food, and no friends. Their only hope? Joining forces with the Knights of Durrani, a mysterious order of warriors fighting the Taliban in Afghanistan.

First, they must rescue loved ones who are still being held captive in Dubai. And steal enough fuel to make it to the rendezvous point with their new benefactor. That is, if a rebellion among the Azov’s crew of Russian conscripts doesn’t scuttle the entire mission.

On the run again, The Circle of Fire will have to navigate shifting alliances in yet another conflict zone. Doubt and deception may be their biggest obstacles in an unforgiving landscape where nothing and no one can be trusted. Not even the people they thought they knew.
