Sometimes I scroll through Notes on Substack. For a while, it seemed like my feed was full of creative posts and resharing of articles here on the app.

But I’m noticing that there is a slow trickle of the toxicity that exists in most online spaces slowly, but surely making its way onto Substack. And I think those of us who came here to write and pour our hearts out to anyone willing to listen should take a pause and not let this happen.
