Reintroducing Revision
Ten years ago, Fireside Fiction gave me a shot and published my first novel, Revision, about a wiki where your edits come true. It was an exciting time, all the more so because the book enjoyed a very warm reception with great reviews from NPR Books and Kirkus, and even a starred review in Publisher’s Weekly. I am forever grateful to Fireside, and to its founder and my editor Brian White in particular, for everything they’ve done for me.
Unfortunately, Fireside Fiction wound down operations in 2022 after too few years, despite having substantially changed the landscape of SF/F publishing for the better. That means that Revision has been out of print and unavailable for a few years now. I love this book and I’m proud of it, so that’s always made me a little sad.
Today I’m excited to tell you that Revision is coming back on October 7! And look at this cool new cover!
The ebook is available for preorder right now on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Apple Books, Kobo, and more. There’s a trade paperback coming as well, if you’d rather hold out for that!
I’ll probably be trying to get onto podcasts and such for promotion. Good lord, maybe I’ll have to go on TikTok! But marketing sucks to do and I’m waist-deep in writing something new. So I’d be really grateful if you tell a friend about the book, or maybe even post something about it on a social something whatever if you’re so inclined, I don’t know, they just say word of mouth is the best way to sell books?
In any event, I’m just delighted to see this book back in the world again. Thanks for being along for the ride, you guys. You’re the greatest.
