From Caution to Kindness on the Irish Coast

Les gens heureux lisent et boivent du café Les gens heureux lisent et boivent du café by Agnès Martin-Lugand

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is a light, absorbing read perfect for vacations and long train rides. It whisks you into a world of deep psychological undercurrents while propelling the plot forward. I genuinely couldn’t put it down! It’s the kind of story that pairs perfectly with a strong cup of coffee. Above all, it’s an enjoyable escape. For a while, you step out of your own life and into the heroine’s. You find yourself rooting for her as her relationships unfold with warmth, tension, and just the right touch of sensuality.

The Irish setting is delightful—salty sea air, windswept beaches, and small-village locals who greet strangers with caution but reveal generous hearts to kind people. Reading it was like taking a brief seaside walk through a country I’ve long wanted to visit. Please read it, take a mental trip, and keep hoping for the best. Coffee is optional but highly recommended.
