Ah, the Fall. It’s my favorite time of the year. Pumpkin Spice fills the air. The leaves change color…well, they change color because they’re dying, but they’re still beautiful, aren’t they? And Halloween! Oh my gourds I love seeing all of those pumpkins just waiting to be carved into jack-o-lanterns! And after all of that comes November, and you know what that means…

NaNoWriMo!!!!!!

Yes, National Novel Writing Month. Its that time of year when we writers roll up our sleeves, dig out our laptops and computers, and do our best to finally get that novel written. Some writers fully participate in NaNo by keeping up with their word count, daily goals, etc. Others like me, just use the time to focus on a writing project and get it done. Sadly, the official NaNo website has been shut down, but November is November, and you can still celebrate NaNoWriMo, website or no website. I have a book I’m currently working on and I plan to finish it during the month of November.

You can still have a killer NaNoWriMo, everyone. Good luck, and I hope you finish your novel.
