Count Down to the End of the Year with Crunch Month

It’s October, and for Woolaston Entertainment it means Crunch Month. This is the time of year when I try to get as much work done as possible. Even if I don’t finish the draft for a book, I will at least finish the outline. This doesn’t mean I won’t get any work done during November and December; I’m just putting in as many hours as I can right now so I can enjoy the holidays for the remainder of the year. Here’s where I’m at.

Me? In A Church? Go On!

Yes, this was the city’s answer to my department’s displacement. We’re currently working in office space set up inside a church. Yes, a church. I’m the last person you’d expect to see working out of a church, but here I am: an elder Goth on Holy ground. The irony… But at least I’m getting some work done!

The Finale of Valentine R

Book Three of the Valentine R series is moving right along. I’m working on the middle and was stuck on the ending—until this morning. It became crystal clear to me how to end the story, and I hope everyone likes it when they read it. I’m currently posting it on Patreon.

The Twisted Plot of Barrin Heights

What’s taking me so long to write this book? Simple: I don’t want this one to suck. Really, I don’t. This is based on an idea I’m very proud of and I’m working hard on it, and I want to make sure I get it right. So when I could find a direction for it, I put it aside for a long time. Now that I know where the story is going, I’m working on it again and posting my progress on Patreon (seriously, you really should check out the Woolaston Entertainment page!). This is my second urban thriller/urban horror (or urban paranormal?) story, second to The Witch of Fulton Lane, and I want it to be special.

Our Lady Is Being All Loud and Angry

I’m still working on the sixth Our Lady of Righteous Rage book, Louder! Right now it’s mostly notes and quotes, and some songwriting (my favorite part). But any progress is still progress.

The Writing Workshop Blog

With better access to a computer and some more time on my hands I’ve actually managed to post on the Woolaston Writing Workshop’s blog! How about that? It still needs more content but I’m getting better at posting on it. Like I said before: progress.

Children’s Chapter Book Series?

I’ve been toying around with an idea for a children’s chapter book series for about four months, and I’ve even made a few notes. Will I write it? Probably next year…we’ll see.

Only two weeks to go!
