🌌 What Is the Everkingdom?

When I first started writing, I set out to build a universe. It was always part of the plan. I wanted to craft stories that didn’t just exist on their own, but were part of a greater design—worlds with their own histories, cultures, and legacies, each shaped by the choices of those who inhabit them. As each world I designed took shape, I realized they were not separate at all. They were reflections of one another.

Every book I write reveals another piece of that larger puzzle. Each new series I release will introduce you to another world I’ve built. The Everkingdom is where they converge.

🤔 Why the Name “Everkingdom”?

The name felt almost destined 🤩. My pen name is Ever King, so when it came time to name the universe I was building, the stars had aligned… or at least the letters did.

Ever + King + dom

It was simple, memorable, and fitting. “Ever” captures the idea of something eternal and ever-evolving, while “Kingdom” represents the many realms and stories that exist within one creation. Together, they perfectly reflected what I wanted this universe to be.

Now, every book I write becomes 'An Everkingdom Novel,' part of a larger universe that continues to grow. I think it’s brilliant, but you can let me know what you think in the comments!

📚 Where It Starts

Every series within the Everkingdom will introduce you to a new world—each with its own magic, history, and story. You can start anywhere, really.

For now, you can begin with Academy of Villains, the first gateway into the Everkingdom. And soon, there will be even more worlds to explore.

🧩 A Universe of Original Lore

From the beginning, I set out to create something that felt wholly my own—a universe with its own rules. Every world within the Everkingdom is built from the ground up, with original mythologies, symbols, and systems of magic that form a cohesive whole.

The goal was never to imitate what already exists, but to design something distinctive. I wanted to write a universe readers could step into and instantly recognize as part of the Everkingdom. Every symbol, term, and thread of lore exists to serve the greater story.

Even the terminology within this universe has been uniquely established. One example is the concept of the Heartstring: a profound mystical bond that links two souls, weaving their destinies together with an unbreakable thread of fate. I chose an English word with a poetic meaning—and gave it a new meaning of my own with magical properties in the Everkingdom universe.
