Inspiring Thanksgivings of Old

The following is Emily’s post from February 2019 where she mentions the kindness of others back on Thanksgiving day 2001.

That kindness must have made a big impact on Emily, so much so that she would write about it over seventeen years later.

We would like to share Emily’s post with you again and wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and maybe take some time to remember when someone did an act of kindness for you.

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me. … Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”
