Flashback to “Earlier:” A king announces that his soldiers are to withdraw, for he has received a written apology from the enemy via messenger bird. Disappointment ensues, however. What appeared to read “I’m sorry” on a partially-unfurled parchment is revealed to read: “I’m sorry you feel that way”.
