'Quantum Calling - Parallel Strangers' is the first book in the Quantum Calling Series, the culmination of over 8 years of writing and having the research always ticking along on the back-burner. This book is an adult #dystopian saga, involving two protagonists - Hector Triest a dabbler, wheeler-dealer of ill repute and Rose Stevens, physicist of ‘good girl’ notoriety. These two couldn’t be more opposed, especially given they aren’t even aware the other exists (in their current space-time reality, that is). Yet, both are called on a hero’s journey, where firstly the thwarting and then the rupture of scientific parameters leads to unintended outcomes. This is a broad novel set almost fifty years in earth’s future, with many characters, shifting plots, across multiple timelines, with themes of the supernatural, fantasy, physics, high-tech and - of course ;) a ‘lil - romance thrown into the mix.
