If you liked “The Siren’s Daughter”, stay tuned. I have two more short stories lined up. But, I won’t be releasing them right away. I plan to enter some contests and try to attract some film agents. I may be dreaming a little big… but that’s the only way to dream, right? Drafts are already complete, but the contest and agent processes take months.
So, if you don’t see any new books from me in 2026, know that it is not because I’m not writing. With the reviews I’ve been getting with my existing books, I think it is clear to anyone following my work that my stories are meant to share our CHamoru culture while also entertaining readers. I want to make the world more aware of the CHamoru people and of our homeland seated on the rim of the Mariana Trench. I want to keep our legends fresh by reimagining them in my own way. I also want to offer new stories and legends to share and pass on.
For now, thank you for reading and supporting my work. Saina ma’ase!
