TGIF! Time to share five random things about our week. Here’s mine:

Our week has a shadow of sadness. Life happens, I just wish people could be kinder and think of others outside of their tunnel vision. I know that’s vague, but it’s the best I can do. That said, Wizard and I, and our kids are fine. This too, shall pass.We were supposed to see Cigi on Wednesday. Then the above happened and Wizard had to stay home to handle stuff, but I was going…until we heard on the news that the rain caused a crash that led to an oil spill and freeway closure. I could have gone another way but the accident and closure backed up all the freeways and I just wasn’t up for a three-hour traffic-snarled battle to get there. Maybe next week!!I finished my first diamond painting project. It’s super easy and I enjoyed it. I especially like listening to books or podcasts while doing it. Next I have two paint my number projects I’ll try at some point. Given that my artistic talent has yet to show itself in my life, I’m a bit dubious how this will turn out. But I won’t know for sure until I try! And it’s fun to just try things.In a couple weeks, Oldest and his family are getting ready to move to a house they bought then had some renovations done. They should be in and mostly settled before Baby Boy arrives in early April. Oldest and Special K have been striving to make everything work out with this move and a new baby all during the pressurized tax season wherein Oldest works most of his waking hours (I wish I was exaggerating, I’m not, but he’s also an owner/partner in the business and it comes with the territory). I’m glad they’re getting across this hurdle! We’re going to do our best to help them in those last weeks of tax season, maybe by taking Turbo to games or whatever they need.This weekend, likely on Sunday, we’ll celebrate Youngest’s birthday. I am very much looking forward to that!
