As of about 10 minutes ago, I finished the initial edit of the audiobook of The Last Dragonrider. Now I get to record the pickups (places where I made a mistake and didn't notice while I was recording). There are 777 of them, totalling nearly 12,000 words. That's almost a tenth of the book, yikes... As well as my clicking mouth and growling stomach, the central heating goes clunk every now and then for at least a couple of hours after I turn it off.

Before I think about any of that, I should probably go back to writing new material for a while. I've neglected that this month, mostly because the day job got busy again. It's calmed down now, so I might have a bit more mental energy to spare for the next month or two.
