The alien bugs from Andromeda!

I’m hard at work on Hearts in Orbit book 5: The Zeta Crystal with hopes of getting it out later this year. It’s been a while since I’ve spent any time “living” in this universe, so I’ve also been reading through the first four books. I’m currently on book 3: Captives of the Kratzen, getting reacquainted with the alien bug creatures from the Andromeda galaxy.

Buggy aliens are a fan favorite and feature heavily in lots of different science fiction books and movies, and the Kratzen are my own brand that I introduced in Captives but haven’t really explored fully yet.

I think they will feature heavily in The Zeta Crystal. I’m playing with something dark and mysterious in their origin, but time will tell if what I’m thinking about will actually make it into the book.
