The path to my upcoming release has been a rocky one. It's a novel close to my heart, a second chance romance. Air Force special ops style.

Unlike Porch Music, which is by design a challenging read, my next release has only one point-of-view. The new one is a dual timeline story, but it is easy to read. Well, that's my opinion.

So many edits, so many proofs. This one will be self-published. A whole new world of information about publishing has opened up to me. I'm reading the guides, advice from my friends, and that same "ole" manuscript.

With all this screen time, I am taking a break from reading. I'm not even listening to an audiobook. That's rare for me, but it is helping me stay focused.
