About 5 years ago i had the worst experience of my life. My whole entire life took a 180° turn. After i fell amd broke my legs it was a trying time. I broke the tibial plateau, tore the meniscus on my right leg, and the tiniest bone in my left foot and 5 explosion breaks.

It took so much out of me mentally I broke. Not just broke but fell so deep i to a depression I didn't even know where to begin. I had to sit for 6 months in a wheelchair. Then came physical therapy, more doctors. At the end of last year I had my l4/l5 fused.

I ended up with a hematoma that ruptured and they found 2 2.3 cm cysts on my adrenal gland. A month later, they removed my adrenal gland. Wanna talk about exhaustion, it was brutal. It was after all of this i learned about my newly formed silent anxious friend in PTSD.

Then I started to write. I fell in love with the art and it started to have feelimgs for me. I began to write more, and watch as the words flowed and danced gracefully to the page. This is why the Custos Monomyth exists, I had to tell not only my story, but there's as well.

I knkw the beginning of the last four years looks brutal, it was, but i learned something important: the people you need to help you through the rough times; are already there.
