Hi all, I had the idea for book one and thoughts/ideas floating around for a long time. But writing book 1 opened the flood gates for me, 2, 3, 4 and 5 all flowed. I think that these have completed an arc of Jack becoming Jack, healing, filling the role and growing. So 1 - 5 are really a long opening act, everyone learning, becoming rounded and individual characters, setting a solid foundation for the rest.

The Breakfast collection is you like with book 6 opening the "Lunch" collection. Book 6 is in development, plot is there, expansion is happening and then writing, 7 is definitely forming in plot, idea, locations etc. 8 possibly starting to become an inkling of an idea.

I live in and grew up in Cumbria, my Dad was one of those people who knew something about anywhere we went in the county, his best mate Bill was even worse, didn't matter what it was, legend, myth, somewhere that a plane had crashed, they knew interesting stuff, my dad also knew every back road, side road, alternate route, cafe and coffee shop.

My Big Sister is cut from the same cloth, but she also started me reading, from teaching me to read to introducing me to books. Along with Bill she started a life long love of reading and learning.

I know a lot of bits, I love Cumbria, the North of England and Scotland there is so much information, lore, history, that finding something to write about is easy, deciding what to use is the hard part.
