The third season of Foggy Basin, small town MM romance project is dropping this month. To celebrate, I’m interviewing as many of the authors as I can
(this post contains some Amazon affiliate links)

Welcome to Foggy Basin. Nestled at the base of the foothills in northern California, this small town is full of characters just waiting to tell you their story. Whether you’re just passing through or you decide to stay a while longer, you’ll always find a warm welcome from the townsfolk. From farmers and animal rescues to artists and small business owners. Foggy Basin has it all.

Foggy Basin season three

Today’s author is BL Maxwell

What do you love about writing Foggy Basin?

I love that is a small town where everyone can be who they want to be and for the most part they’re not judged. I love that most of the characters know of each other and there is a lot of interaction with other characters in different books.

Who are your characters for season three?
Keith Brooks, hoof trimmer and metal worker, Bart Martin, newest city transplant that now works on the family dairy.

What can readers expect from your book?
A warm small town vibe with lots of cows and a city boy who is still figuring out country life and a country boy who is very entertained by everything that city boy does.

What are your favourite tropes?
I love Opposites Attract, Forced Proximity, Enemies to Lovers.

Least favorite, Dark Romance with no HEA. No HEA. I need to know it all ends well.

Are you an early bird or night owl?
Night owl 100%

Coffee, tea or hot chocolate?
Latte, I’m a whimp with coffee I need all the stuff.

Star Wars or Star Trek?
Oh man how do you choose? Star Trek, but Next Generation

If you could transform into any animal, what would you choose and why?
A squirrel, because they’re cute, feisty, and kinda crazy.

What do you snack on while you write?
Anything I can get my hands on.

Do you have a writing routine? If so, please describe it
Not really. I try to write and do other bookish jobs between writing.

Sometimes it works sometimes not so much.

What’s the best book you’ve read this year?
Game Changers by Rachel Reid, loved it.
