I’m very happy to share that I’ve recently become Managing Editor of ArabLit!

ArabLit has been an important home for Arabic literature in translation for so many of us, and I’m honored to be joining its editorial leadership at a time when the work of bringing Arabic writing into wider conversations feels more urgent—and more exciting—than ever.

I’m deeply grateful to Marcia Lynx Qualey and to the many writers, translators, editors, publishers, and readers who have built ArabLit into what it is today. I’m looking forward to helping carry that work forward, while making space for new ways of thinking about Arabic literature.
