More Shortness

Hi readers:
Though I hoped to put together a collection, it turns out that my short stories fall into two categories that don't mix: domestic stories about loss and family and love versus more fantastic stories about ghosts, curses, love, and magic.

I recently published one of the latter: Pinky Johnson goes to a crossroads in deepest Mississippi on a mission to save the soul of legendary bluesman Robert Johnson (no relation).

Called "At the Crossroads," this very short story was my first published fiction as an adult. It appeared in the print edition of Rosebud magazine in 2013.

I hope you'll enjoy it — it's free on KOBO, as cheap as Amazon allows, and somewhere in between on iBooks.

Cheers!
