Fall Update
Im taking September off events to get the new term sorted:

Ive got eight or nine kids (a few more often trickle in after the first couple weeks) in the workshop, plus a one-to-one mentee running in parallel, so its busy. But October is just around the corner!
Heres whats on the menu for Halloween:

Plus the CVHBBA Witches Tea Party 2026 on October 24. Dress up in your best witchy costume and join this tea for charity, served at 11:00 am or 1:30 pm at the Courtenay Legion on Cliffe. Ill be bringing spine-tingling tales for all ages, and therell be several other themed vendors on site, plus music and other entertainments. Ticketed event.
And probably more to come for my winter holiday lineup, but so far theres:
Nov. 14-15: Winterfaire in Courtenay, BC
Nov. 21: Christmas at Filberg in Comox, BC
Nov. 12-13: Winterfaire in Courtenay, BC
As always, if youre looking for one-off event programming, or continuing workshops or mentorship, you can always find more information and inspiration on my Bookings page; current and upcoming examples include festival speaking, creative workshops, and even some one-to-one mentorships with young writers.
No new publishing news besides the 2027 releases in the calendar, but getting closer to launching the next series.
