Weekly Wrap Up

I don’t think I’ve ever, ever, in my life done a weekly wrap up. Mainly because I’m lazy but also because I don’t live an exciting life that demands a weekly wrapping up of all the things I did. So you bet I’d record anything exciting happening in my life and though it’s just another good week of being a fangirl, nothing personally huge, I’d like to say, being in different fandoms and writing about my little niches and hyperfixations has been my favorite thing to do ever and it won’t be life changing to you or maybe you think that’s all I’ve got in my life to be excited about, and I’ll say you’re absolutely correct but this is my life. These releases are the things I look forward to, and I’m grateful for that, and I wouldn’t change that ever. So here’s a little fun wrap up of things that made life worth living this week.

Best of the Best
So here’s the thing, Maitreyi could feature as a tree in a high school film production and I’d still be front row watching her. She just breathes life into her characters. I enjoy watching her so much and she was just as charismatic in this film as she is in NHIE. The scene where the lights go out and she just starts doing her thing, knowing her best friend will pick up what she’s doing, that made me cry! It was really heartwarming.

The Love Hypothesis
I read the book ages ago and though I don’t remember much, as I was watching the film, I kept saying, this is exactly like the book, atleast the parts I recalled. I was giggling throughout the movie, wanting more! It was just so cute and fresh, in my honest opinion.
5/5 and more!!!

Side note :- I have decided to survive this book-to-movie/ series adaptation era by going in blind, which is to say, I don’t want to reread or compare the book to the film, and I certainly don’t care about the cast being different from the images I saw in my head, and I definitely don’t want to know what they changed. That’s the only way we’ll all survive to be honest, otherwise I’ll just keep fighting with invisible people, crying that IT WASNT LIKE THAT IN THE BOOK! Which even though is my right to say, isn’t right to say because I just want to have a good time with my favorite characters, even if it’s different, and I can’t do that if I insist on going against the wave.

Voicemails for Isabelle
I don’t know if it’s a book based film adaptation and I don’t care about finding out more because honestly, if I do that, I’d like to read the book and that’d just be more heart wrenching so I’m trying to fight that urge. The scenes, I don’t know how many times I was watching with blurry eyes. It was so sad and hopeful and also real. I can’t imagine losing my sibling and to think they were like twins, best friends, and have to lose that, it’s simply cruel.

New TS songs
I love them! Although I still think TLOAS is all over the place, it’s just so good to have some good happy TS music to get through happy moments. I finally have songs I can add to my dancing to TS songs playlist!

Avengers End Game Encore
My MCU obsession started with Addicted series when I first read the books, and then, as I was finishing, it was time for Tom Holland’s new spider man movie. I really wanted to see what LiLo talked about (that’s how you know if it’s a good book, In my opinion, if it makes you curious to learn more about other topics) and Tom Holland is cute so I watched a few MCU movies. But it wasn’t until this summer, with Doomsday release nearing, that I finally sat down and watched the complete first three phases and WOW. I couldn’t watch End Game the first time and I wasn’t going to miss this golden chance, so despite the heavy rainfall and alerts to stay indoors, I was adamant and watched it first day! I just love these people so much. Their friendship and banter is everything to me. Though I’m still confused about how everything fits in the timeline, I’m excited to watch the next films and series, especially Loki and Wanda Vision. I don’t have much to say about the movie itself because those who have watched it, they know, and those who aren’t into it, won’t understand. I personally think it was a great conclusion to this phase, although I still wonder what would’ve happened if Tony were still alive.

Nine Perfect Strangers
I have always wanted to read Big Little Lies so when I saw this book at the book fair this month, i had to get it. It was a good read, the twist was shocking! The characters felt real. I’m still disappointed that THAT WOMAN got away with it!
Solid 4/5

I was going to conclude this with my thoughts on Patient Zero music video but it isn’t until later tonight, I believe, so that’s it for this one!
Happy Sunday!
