Baby G is home, and putting his parents through their New Parent Learning Trials. Seriously, he’s a good baby and adjusting well so far. Aside from the usual lack of sleep, his parents are doing great. Mom is recovering, but needs to take it easy. When I visited on Sunday, Youngest showed me how to make the supplemental formula. I was actually impressed. No matter how tired he is, he’s still smiling with his beautiful baby boy. Today is going to be hard for Youngest as he needs to work. On very little sleep — and he’s insisting on getting up at night to help.

DIL is so happy with their beautiful baby, and amazed by him too. She has her mom there with her which is a big help. Youngest will take time off once he gets some projects cleared. Most of it he can do from home, so that’s helpful.

While I was there, Middle Son and family came over. Middle DIL cracked me up — she stopped half way to the door, saw me holding Baby G and said, “I didn’t know we were going to have to share.” I showed Cigi (who was so cute in a pretty yellow dress to meet her cousin) Baby G then handed him off to DIL. It’s nice being closer by this baby so I know I can stop by anytime and don’t need to hog him Oldest and his family went over on Saturday when Wizard and I were exercising all our self control NOT to go over, LOL. Plus DIL’s family have been around both helping and enjoying Baby G.

Wizard missed out yesterday because he was racing. I guarantee he will be over there a few times this week!

Otherwise, I cleaned, got my hair cut and some lowlights in it, ran errands and made granola to take over to DIL. Now I finally feel well enough at at about 85 to 90% recovered to get caught up on life. The house definitely needed a decent cleaning, LOL. It’s actually really nice feeling to get things.

This week I’m focusing on helping Youngest and DIL where I can, and I’ll see what, if any, meals I can make for them.
