Fragments of my life go passing by
Like shattered glass before my eye
They fade like images upon a mist
Things I had and might have missed
Soon all that exists is the pain
All that helps is to eat a brain
Tattered flesh and a shuffling walk
I can only moan, no longer talk
I still remember what you did
Even though I was only a kid
I’m coming now, you’ll see me soon
The zombie that’s holding a sharpened spoon
You thought yourself clever when you stole my life
My house, the children and even my wife
Your clever laugh has haunted my slumber
The dead did rise, resurrected I wander
I’ll find you yet and eat your skin
At your toes is where I’ll begin
Eat you slow, let you feel the pain
Before I finish you off by eating your brain.
