It was getting dark out and Chris looked up at his grandfather and asked, "Papa, shouldn't we head back to the campsite it is getting very dark out?"
"Hmm, I suppose so, we don't have a flashlight to find the path though. Just a minute," saying that he walked over to one of the large pine trees and leaned in close to the bark. Standing back up he shook his head yes and walked back over to Chris.
"What were you doing Papa?" he asked with a quizzical look on his face.
"Oh, I asked the tree to help us. So let's sit on that stump there for a couple of minutes and then help will be here," saying that he walked over to a large stump and sat down. He pulled a harmonica out of his pocket and began to play a song.
That was the night Chris realized that his grandma and grandpa were not like anyone else's. It was also the summer that he discovered "The Magic of the Trees"
