Interview on Terra-di-Mezzo

Your first novel is titled The awakening of Fire and tells the story of Morwen, unusual female characters, mysterious, cynical, cruel, dark and with evil charm. A fantasy from dark colors, therefore, in which the protagonist is not the classic chosen, ready for a mission of salvation, nor the usual doomed heroine: in the center there is a different woman, which leads to an extreme the concept of "dark fascination of evil". Why this choice?
CHIARA: The project of The Queen of the Underworld was born from the fact that I've always been fascinated by the dark side of the characters and I wanted the protagonist of my books was the incarnation of all evil variegations that leave me breathless. The awakening of the Fire, the first book of the series, recounts the meeting between the Heir to the throne of the Underworld and Prince Galadir and the unstoppable birth of their intense love. It's a book in which is not the Good to take center stage, but this woman of incredible loveliness and cruelty, determined to escape her fate but unable to breathe without the one who did win her heart. In this first volume clues emerge on the obscure past of Morwen and is most often cited the mysterious Andrer, and over the other books will increase the secrets.

This time it's not Evil the enemy to shoot down in order to affirm the Good: it becomes the protagonist of the story and the measure of all things in the novel. A relatively new element or, rather, addressed in various ways in which bad is bad from start to finish without second thoughts or late final conversions.
CHIARA: The peculiarity of my saga is that, indeed, the protagonist is not the usual fearless heroine and pure of heart, but a brutal and seductive woman who oozes evil. It's an unusual fantasy, everything revolves around this wicked and merciless creature and around her way of seducing even a glance: Morwen is cruel and fights for herself, not to save the people of Penthànweald. Even when it may not seem like, she is acting solely for herself and for Galadir, of course. Here, one might say that the darkness of evil reigns in this saga. I would venture to say that mine is a dark fantasy, but I couldn't draw inspiration from any book, were been the two people who I choose to impersonate Galadir and Morwen that whispered in my thoughts how to write their story, and I performed the orders!

There will be a sequel? You have several projects in progress...
CHIARA: My future plans already count ready the saga sequel to The Queen of the Underworld, two paranormal romances and the spin-off of the three years that Morwen has spent in the Winged Horse Reign, a cross-over of the saga sequel in progress and two paranormal series in the pipeline.
