ViSalus 90-Day Challenge: Hunger

It’s interesting how we all get into that mindset that if we are hungry, that’s a BAD BAD THING!  Mine comes from being hungry as a kid, and having to compete for food, but I have learned that I DO know where my next meal is coming from.  Hunger is just another feeling, and it is NOT pain.  We will NOT die of hunger, nor will it harm us, especially if we feel it for an hour or two.  See this scale?  It’s the one they use in hospitals to get an idea of how much you are hurting when you are injured or sick.  Well, hunger pain is not on this scale.  It’s LESS than zero and at best, psychological.

Hunger does not exist on this scale, no matter how much you think hunger hurts.

As I progress on the ViSalus Challenge, I can’t say enough how I hardly EVER feel hungry if I am following the plan EXACTLY.  I don’t know what this week will hold after the huge losses of the previous two weeks, but I am going to keep working, and keep working, and then when I hit my 90-day goal, the REAL work begins.

I will do ANOTHER 90-Day Challenge… and another… and another… until I am as fit and healthy as I can be.  I feel guilty sometimes when I can’t work out (or just don’t make time for it) every day, because I REALLY want to keep losing and shaping up, but I am working on that guilt.  I have got to at least lace up the shoes and get out for 30 minutes, even if it’s just a walk.

Footnote:  I KEEP FORGETTING to eat my snacks because I’m not hungry during the day.  I just had mine an hour late, and now I won’t eat until about 1 PM, but it’s all good.  PUMPKIN SHAKE COMING UP!
