Since Bernard discusses orchids in the beginning of the last chapter of April, I figured this was a just occasion to post pictures of the orchids that Travis has gotten for me. Totally relevant, yes? Yes.

These were a late birthday present and he surprised me with them while I was at work (at the magazine which Mouth is based around). I’ve posted before about how Travis has also given me sunflowers, and in that post, I talk more about the photo board in the background of the flowers. As you can tell, my desk has sort of become overwhelmed by books from the class I’m working on and a bunch of papers, too. But for the most part, the stuff that ends up going there reminds me of the story in some way.

So, the ‘real’ purpose of this entry is that in a great feat of procrastination towards my other obligations, I finally finished editing the story. My beta has been working on doing this for months and she gave me the last section just a few days ago. Since then, I’ve been going non-stop. While the post schedule is still going to stay the same, for those who want to jump ahead, the book is now on lulu.com.

I’m working on getting a two-book set together like I did for TDK, but that will be a bit longer of a wait. I’m also still finding small kinks in the production of the book itself. There are no glaring errors (I would not put it up online if there was), but there are small things that will inevitably annoy me and that I need to stop being so hung up on. For the most part, this is done. I’m so relieved and and also very sad. Thank you so much to everyone who has been a support recently. I truly appreciate everything.
