The thing that amazes me, even if it doesn’t interest anyone else is that I read the Bible a lot. When I was a practicing Christian, and the word practicing is appropriate for me, because I only practiced it but never quite got it down right. But when I went through the motions of being a Christian, I hardly ever even thought about the Bible, let alone actually read it.
It was only after questioning my faith and membership of a Christian Church, that I started reading and thinking about the subject. What I read and learned deeply conflicted with what I was asked to accept and believe as a Christian and a member of a Church. It’s nice going to Church. I enjoyed it. Now and then I still enjoy going to Church. Odd isn’t it?
