Just read Are These Actual Miles? again and the fear/anger/desperation of the characters still has an impact. I read the story every year (same with Hemingway's Indian Camp & Hills Like White Elephants, & Joyce's The Dead) and get something from it...have something different catch my attention. This time it was the neighbour with the hose.
