On the final page of Shield of Secunda, I’ve promised a free short story on this site which was to be available mid July.

Unfortunately, due to the tragic loss of my partner’s mother, the completion and polishing of that short story has taken a backwards step in priority.

Fortunately I had already written most of it and it was sitting with my time-generous test readers, Eliot and Simon, and today I will be completing the final version of it to send away to be formatted into a Kindle edition. Both PDF and Kindle will be available to be downloaded for free within the fortnight.

Apologies to those of you who visited this site expressly to read that short. I promise it will be worth the wait!
