"1889 A.D.": a historical tale of forbidden m/m love that blossoms between two European Jews--a young man of faith and a radical activist--aboard a ship bound for America. Forthcoming in MLR Press's Lust in Time: Erotic Romance Through the Ages, edited by Rob Rosen. (Each tale will be titled by the year it occurs, from prehistory through the 21st century. Clever, isn't it? I can't wait to read the whole book.)
