Alright everyone I have FINALLY heard about my newest release in the book publishing world!!! My heart and love, my first book ever written, will be released JUNE 4TH!!! EEEEKKK!!! I am SO excited right now!!!

Markings, a modern day YA fantasy, is coming out in just 3 months!!! This is going to be a day for me, because this is the book I poured the most energy into, the most thought into, and the most EDITING! Oh my goodness, was there a lot of editing!!!

I wrote the first version when I was just 17. This was the book that started it all for me. Markings started out at 900 pages double-spaced. I chopped and re-wrote and edited until it was under 400. It has had numerous people interested in it and numerous companies, but ultimately didn't get picked up by any big-wigs, and I spent 6 months doing the run-around with an east coast small press who ultimately decided I just wasn't worth responding to after all the work I did... then came my lovely WiDo Publishing! They picked it up after PREDATOR GIRL's release, helped me with final edits, and now it is getting ready to come to the market!

This book reminds me that we as people are capable of ultimately anything we put our minds to, and that "I can't" is simply a phrase. It can be overcome. I am the most proud of this book out of all my finished works right now. This one will always be my first love in writing.
