Like so many others, I am a survivor of child abuse. I was that little kid kidnapped in the middle of the night, then for six years lived a life on the run, hungry, abused and terrified. Thanks to the mind’s ability to “disassociate” in times of extreme terror, I survived only because of this disorder...The fear I felt was so intense I split into multiple personalities...

Bitter Memories: A Memoir of Heartache & Survival is not a cozy, feel-good book, but it is a true story of extreme and horrific child abuse and my will to survive. There’s no way to sugarcoat child abuse and relay a true story, so it does contain adult language and graphic content!

Bitter Memories is the start of my story; Trophy Murders continues after going to live with my aunt and uncle, and Cutter’s Revenge, continues my story after my adoption, but as one reader put it, this book “has more twists and turns than a snake on Prozac.” Book 4 in the series will be out later this year with a BONUS of two short stories at the end. One non-fiction, one a fantasy.

From The Heart: A Collection of Poems and Stories is not part of the Bitter Memories series, but it could be. In this book I expose feelings never shared before... also available in audio, Beth McEwan, narrator, brings my written words to life.

Bitter Memories is currently being made into audio, then Trophy Murders and Cutter’s Revenge will follow.
