When in Doubt, Don't! was my mother's favorite expression as I was growing up. It seemed everything was off limits and oh so interesting.

Years later as I look back I think I understand better just why those words were so important and now have become the title to my new novel, WHEN IN DOUBT, DON'T! If only I had listened to that small inner voice I might never have had the experiences that led to my writing of this novel.

WHEN IN DOUBT, DON'T! is a fictional story of a young mother who unknowingly leases her home to a group of rightwing extremists who plan to over throw the government. Hard to believe but these things actually happen. It made for a harrowing experience and I hope even better reading.
